Governor Masari to Distribute free Ak47 to Residents of Kastina State to defend themselves

Governor Masari, stated that the government will assist locals who wish to obtain AK 47 in order to defend themselves against attacks.

 

Recall that Bandit activities have increased in Katsina, resulting in abductions and deaths of  many.

 

The governor claims that the state's security forces are insufficient to protect inhabitants' lives and property.

 

"This security is for everyone, regardless of political affiliation." It is important to note that Katsina does not have 3,000 police officers. "As a result, we call on everybody who can take up arms to defend themselves, themselves, and their families," Masari said, according to BBC Hausa.

"Those who wish to import firearms will receive assistance from us since the people of Katsina need to support the security forces."

 

The governor has advised locals to protect themselves against armed bandits on several occasions.
